Since I have been sick, I have been spending my evenings after work just resting. Early on in my illness, Mitchell decided to buy a Play Station since he was grounded from everything else in the house. Both boys purchased games to play and have been playing it for hours everyday. I haven't made rules or put time limits on it yet because I'm just too tired to fight this one at this time. I know, bad mom, I need to be stricter but.... The boys are getting along pretty well as they play day in and day out on the few games that they have. I would be bored silly if I had to play these games. Mitchell will even get up at 4AM to play the video games before he has to go to early morning seminary!!! Talk about obsessive. I am hoping the video game obsession will die out on its own before I really have to call a family meeting and put restrictions on it!

They are just like 2 year olds. Put in a movie and it's peace and quiet for mom. Except it's video games. You have just got to love the little things that distract your kids so you can get yourself together again. I love my quiet me time. Yeah for Disney and PS2.
